Been browsing the forum for the past couple weeks for insight. Went ahead and pulled the trigger on a 2013 Griso at Rider's Hill last weekend. It was a long & cold (for me) ride there and back, but I'm happy with things so far and excited. I traded in a Triumph Street Triple R, and had a Honda Hornet for years before that.

Just getting the bike home pushed me halfway to the first service interval. That means I'll be due by the end of the month and I'm debating which shop to use. Sloan's is the nearest dealer. They did a good job with my Honda and I used their suspension shop to set up my Triumph with pleasing results. That said, it sounds like this first service requires fairly extensive inspection and the Griso is a more "obscure" mount. I really liked the shop at Rider's HIll and they've seen several Grisos pass through the shop. It's just a bit of a slog. Birmingham is convenient with family, but sounds like that shop is in their infancy.

Opinions?

I look forward to being a part of the forum and hopefully seeing some of you out on the road.

I'd suggest you give Sloan's a shot. They have sent their mechanics to school. Rider's Hill has had some turn over of personnel in the service department so I don't know their current level of expertise.

Sloan's is a good. That's where I bought my Stelvio and they have done both services on it so far with no problems at all. I wouldn't take it anywhere else at this point.
