Also check side stand switch and tip over switch. Also check the ground point under the starter cover. As part of troubleshooting, remove the starter cover and with the key on, and bike confirmed in neutral on center stand jump the starter solenoid. If she starts, it is in the control circuits. If she doesn't start, could be the tip over switch but they are a low failure rate item.

wow cover off which was a drama lol srews made off cheese now earth looks ok very awkward to get to solenoid to jump it any tips

Just because the ground looks good, doesn't mean it is. Remove the cable and clean everything up. Just a small amount of surface corrosion will prevent a good ground. A short jumper wire is all that is needed to activate the starter. Just go from the big cable (B+) to the spade terminal.

The green wire inside the starter button on Breva 11 is disconne3cted & cannot find wiring diagram showing where to re-solder it???

There are two buttons on the switch assembly and each has two wires. So you should see three wires connected to two switches. Connect the wire to the button that only has one wire. If you can't find it, just order a new assembly,

Thank you for your prompt reply John! I'm looking at the Breva-11 wiring schematic#4 lights relay per the manual. This is the only relay that has a green wire (V color code). The color of the wires Inside the #4 lights relay have different color wires than what the manuals diagram shows. This is my dilemma of not knowing which terminal to solder the Green wire? The #3 ignition relay doesn't have a green (V) wire. Also, I'm sure the wire color is green and there's no solder on it & none of the other soldered wires show one that the Green may have been attached to?

Is it possible the Green wire doesn't need to be attached to anything?

Possible, but then why doesn't the starter button work. Check that there are only four wires going to the RH switch. Guzzi is known to not wire IAW the drawing. I found that out replacing the headlight on my 1100 Breva.

Thanks again for your insights John...it seems to me that if the mystery green wire doesn't need to be connected, Guzzi would have not left an inch of exposed bare wire that may create a short circuit if it were to make contact with one of the connected wires? I just took a closer look at the inside the starter button wiring & there's 4 wires soldered plus the Green wire has solder on it? I wonder if Guzzi used a different starter button on the '07 Breva?
