Hi all, My Buddy and I were installing a PCIII on his Quota ES 1100 and found this disconnected connection near the ECU. Does anybody recognize it? Or know what it's for?

thanks, Rafael

Yes - it is a 'SureSeal'. We use them on wiring harnesses for tractor trailers. It is proprietary and you wont find the matching one on the shelf. They are also excellent in that they are water tight and virtually indestructable.
You need tooling that you rent from Sureseal to make the connector.

Their URL is here: http://www.suresealconnections.com/

As to what it is connected to, don't have a clue. Schematics anyone?

Saw the same unconnected connector on my 1100es. Still dunno what it goes to either.

Sometimes manufactures just build a harness for multiple applications. Some of the connectors on the harness will not be used in all applications. I think this one on the Quota is just one of those that never had a purpose. There is no red/white & blue/white wire pair in use in the Quota schematic.
