After being mightily impressed with my brothers California I've gone and spent some of my pre-retirement cash on this beauty. Having done almost 33years in my current job it's almost time to go so a little pre-retirement treat for myself and the long suffering wife. First registered in June last year, one owner and under 3000 miles.
Currently has the MG medium size screen fitted, on the shopping list initially is Hepco becker sissy bar and rack (or maybe just the rack version if I decide to go down the top box route) to stop the missus falling off the back, Hepco becker C bow big Buffalo bags and C bow carrier, MG stainless radiator guard, Hepco becker crash bars.
Once the credit card has recovered there may be other bits (all suggestions gratefully received). Views on MG leather tank cover and leather tank bag or bagster cover and bag would be great.

It's clean but not spotless as my bikes usually are so a garage day is planned with the sponge and soapy water and polish, lots of polish:cool::)

Meldrew,
Here are a couple of photos that might inspire you. I have a red 2016 Eldorado that has been turned into a Caldorado. California windshield and hard bags, HB low rack with MG top box and a Corbin saddle. You have lots of options. You should enjoy the new bike. I have 15,000 miles on mine with zero issues. Consider Todd's fueling package......it really
wakes it up!!!

The El Dooo is fast becoming my favorite Guzzi!!!
I had the Custom & then really liked the Audace but if I was going back to a 1400 it would be the Red Eldorado.

Both of your bikes are beauties!!!

Beautiful. Well done!

Just about to fit. Hepco becker rear rack, Cbow frames and engine crash bars I managed to get a set of C bow buffalo big bags brand new with rain covers at an absolute bargain price of a third of the cost of HB list price off good old eBay, only slight problem was they were for the tube frame carriers not Cbow but you can get the Cbow fittings to replace the tube frame fittings .yahoo.
Will post some pictures when all fitted.:)

FWIW it would be wise to spray some silicone into the spoke nipple holes so the O rings and the aluminum rims dont corrode and start leaking ..
I have this issue it looks like the rims are made from bare aluminum and once they get a few wet cycles
the aluminum corrodes at the spoke nipple O rings and thus the air will leak past the seal.
NOTE my rims have been corroding ever since it was new and i have polished and waxed it many times to no avail
MG wont cover this under warranty so not really how to proceed
Your Eldo looks great IMG 0859

Have had several members recommending todd's fuelling kit, think at some stage it will be on the shopping list but got to get out and ride it first. First thing to do is contribute to the site as the information I've gained so far has been great. A wealth of knowledge and experience out there.

any name brand silicone spray should work,
the idea is to prevent water from wicking into the nipples and then the rim corroding around the O rings.
I really wish they made the rim with higher quality materials and took the time to put a protective coating on the aluminum
