How important was "made in Italy" to you?

maybe I would remain loyal, but the reason companies change location is almost always to save money on labour. that would likely be disqualifying for me immediately. I don't want to see a bunch of nice mandello folks out of work! if our economic system is to justify itself, companies should...

How important was "made in Italy" to you?

I don't care in the slightest... I really only care that the workers are paid and treated well, and the company in question has real roots to their home and is a good corporate citizen. That seems to describe Moto Guzzi, so I'm a fan. Maybe it describes some Chinese or Indian companies, I...

    carc rod bushing

yea... I seem to remember at one point there was some discussion about which bushing was better. I believe the one that failed for me was actually a part from a Ford car. then when the Stelvio NTX came out, Guzzi came out with this improved version. is that right? 🤔 I don't quite recall...

    Heated Grips for Norge

I originally put heated grips on my 2007 Breva 1100 with the wire coming out like that, it broke internally about six months later. It was a bit confusing because the 2007 model year seems to have bikes with both the earlier and later styles of switchgear. There are two styles of heated grips...

    carc rod bushing

I got my money's worth! ...actually I'm quite annoyed I waited and suffered for so long, I was sidetracked/confused by the fact that my suspension linkage bearings also need to be replaced, so I thought the clunky sensations were coming from there. feels like a new bike now!

    carc rod bushing

huh my shifting sure is clunky.... oh: fortunately I have a vast stock of spares for this bike (b11), acquired over the years: one brief wrestling match with a ball joint press... thing... and, sorted. shifting is fantastic now, and on/off throttle transitions much smoother! so check...

    Any more Nuovo Falcone owners?

ooh I realize I never put a pic of mine here: I had to change a few things, not because I really wanted to but because the parts were a bit damaged. still deciding if I want to fix them or leave the bike kinda 'naked' as it is now.

I usually get my woodruff keys from mcmaster carr, they come in boxes of 50 or 100. Not sure you can buy one though, and I'm not sure you'll save any money... but it will be here the next day!
