    Future California model?

Interesting, if based on the V100 engine it could be a winner.

    Ambo sump full of gas!

To replace the front bearing the engine needs to be on the bench. Also you will need to measure the crankshaft ends to determine the correct size bearing to install. It may be necessary to turn the crankshaft journals and big ends if there is damage. Hopefully that won't be necessary, but only...

    Ambo sump full of gas!

I recommend dropping the pan and get any remaining sludge out. If it is picked up it could clog an oil passage since there is no oil filter, just a screen. Then just run it with the appropriate oil, but I would do a couple early changes at about 2K each then you can extend based on condition...

V85tt fork oil change- special tools needed?

Hi Jimmy, From what I see in the manual, having the special tools would make it easier, and an assistant is necessary. That said, in my experience purchasing the special tool(s) has always made the job easier. I probably have a couple thousand dollars (or more) of special tools and they sure...

Honest ! I’m not just trying to start Trouble - Dot 3 / Dot 4 vs Dot 5.1

If the master cylinder specifies DOT 4, then that is what should be used. The systems on your Guzzi may or may not be compatible with DOT 5.1. Why take the chance?

    Breva 1100 dashboard failure?

Dash units are prone to condensation. Search the forum for how folks have added drain holes to prevent corrosion.

Leaking fuel level sensor. 2003 California EV 1100.

I just checked part number 03103000 at Harper's and it said pre-order. You would have to call to see if they can actually get it. The 29103050 shows available, and if you don't want to change the electrical connector, it will just stop the leak.

Leaking fuel level sensor. 2003 California EV 1100.

If you could find a threaded cap for it you could. However, I don't know where to get threaded caps in metric thread in the US.

Leaking fuel level sensor. 2003 California EV 1100.

It seems to be out of stock everywhere. My suggestion is to remove it clean with denatured alcohol and dry it thoroughly. Rough the bottom surface so the repair will adhere. Then seal with a two part epoxy. Push as much around the wires as possible.
