    Stelvio tire recommendations

I used the Avon's for a cross country trip a few years back & was pretty impressed by how well they did on both dry & wet pavement. Was not totally thrilled with how fast they wore out, but was minor in the grand scheme. Went to Heidenau's K60 sport & found them to be a really good off road tire...

    power outlet size or type

Impressive. Yeah, I haven't seen any for sale in years, and they sure do come in handy.

    GG Periscope

Yes. I really like it & find it very useful. It gives the gear you are in, engine temp, RPM, speed, & can be set US standard or metric.

    power outlet size or type

They come in 2 sizes & yes the Guzzi one is based off older design/size. They used to make sleeves that you could slide in, but I can't find them anymore. So, you can cut a plastic milk jug for instance & make one for yourself. Just takes a few minutes to do.

    Brake light assembly

Check fuse, if ok then make sure that you are getting power to the assembly. If you are, then possibly need a new assembly. If not find the fault in the wiring.

    Oil Breather Hoses Question

When I did mine all I did was remove the screws holding the ABS unit down & was able to move it around enough without having to actually take it off the bike. It was tight, but well worth the struggle not to take that assembly off the bike.

2008 Stelvio ( no longer ) hates the wet!

It doesn't need to be Guzzi original. I just replaced my plug caps a month ago. Just use the NGK caps like this. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0018JXLSK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 If you look up under the search feature there are a good number of threads on this...

    Stuffing the Triple Tree

I shortened my bike & did cut the side stand. As to getting the bike up on the center stand, yes it becomes an issue. I carry a small 2x4 piece of wood with me & can roll the rear wheel on it & then get the bike up on the stand easily. Maybe not the best solution, but it works well.

    Ethanol Tank Swelling

It's a proven fact that the percentage of Ethanol contained within gasoline drops the fuel mileage by that same percentage, so remind me again how it's a renewable fuel? So frustrating! Rant over :lipssealed: Absolutely! Ran E15 recently in my car for a few weeks because it was so cheap...

    Front a Brake Disc

Well that warrants a return visit to the shop. I'd be asking the mechanic if he would like t return that spacer he found on the floor & has been scratching his head over. I turned a wrench for a good number of years. I would have been on the phone to you so fast it wouldn't have been funny...

Not a new oil thread, maybe a bit...

    Won't be an issue.

    Stelvio, fuel congestion

I would be inclined to still replace the filter, check to make sure no hose is cracked, & all the wires have good contacts. Without actually looking at it in hand, that's the best I can offer. Anyone else feel to chime in.

Oxford heated grips Switched live Stelvio '08

Here are the instructions for doing the grips. Hope this clarifies things for you.

    side cases/topcase

& yes, what Dons 1911 posted is the correct "back rest" for the box.

    side cases/topcase

The boxes should be SW-Motech made.

    Stelvio, fuel congestion

Ok, so you are having a fuel starvation problem. What year is the bike? Also are you doing the same mileage as always? Not trusting the gauge I would want to be sure that it isn't reading improperly. Next If that is the same as always & the gauge is correct, I would be removing the fuel pump...

    Finished a few more mods . . .

Not the best bike out there for lane splitting to say the least.

    Tank Bag

Purchased this for both my Griso & Stelvio. Works great & makes for an easy time fueling the bike. Also can unfortunately attest that the bag will stay put even when the bike goes down.

    Cooling Oil Circuit Thermostat.

I only reused the hose that went to the heads but did end up changing the fitting on it. The stock fittings at the cooler are not AN & will leak even with some adapters. So they were all changed.
