My cross pipe cracked, so was riding over to the shop to get fixed, welded this time. Actually found the louder noise not that invasive. Started thinking....maybe louder pipes wouldn't be too bad......hmmmm...VPerformance..... oh oh

I just took a look at the video. I really like the look, the white with the black is very sharp!! Saw a couple of ideas that I may apply to my touring. Thinking, thinking.....

Has anyone tried to mount highway pegs?

Still working on a solution, the inner tube worked for a while, but the pegs slid. I have some aluminum and will try that next. Spring will be the time I try again, since the bike is inside a rented garage and in hibernation till I take it out.

    Hot Start issues

Didn't ride for a week, when I went out the battery was dead, so I took it out and out it on charge overnight. The next day it ran like a champ, started right up cold or warm. So I guess whatever happened to the electronics reset with the battery out. Going to wire in my battery tender in the...

Future very proud owner of a 2014 California Custom

Congrats on the bike! Like it's been said above, you'll love the bike, and it's no cliche to say it gets better as the miles increase. I just turned 10000kms on my Touring, and it rides better than ever! It's actually a demo day ride on a Custom that caused me to get California! Love at...

Givi top case on a Cali 1400?

I bought the 50l box from AF1 Racing, it works very nice, the luggage rack is relatively easy to put on the bike, follow the directions, and it works. If I'm not mistaken, the MG box is made by Givi, nor sure, maybe someone will come by and confirm or deny. The passenger room isn't affected as...

    Hot Start issues

Mine just started doing something similar. 2014 Tour, 9800kms. Until this oat week it would start fist time every time. Push the start button, turns over two or three times and it's running. No throttle needed. Brought it to the dealer to have an oil leak looked at a and a klunk in the front...

    GPS/Phone mount

Hey RV, I've used the rubber tube under the clamps, I've tried some thin aluminum under the clamps as well, neither worked too well as after a couple of rides, the pegs shifted and slid around. Going to try again though, those bars and pegs aren't smarter than I am!!!

    GPS/Phone mount

I found a ball mount from Ram that uses one of the handle bar Allen screws to mount. Fits perfect and no need to wrestle with odd diameter bars. God knows I'm fighting that battle right now with my highway pegs on the tipover bars right now

Ontario or Canadian resources for Parts and Accessories

I'll have to check my receipts for the amounts, there was no duty on the box, and the amount on the rack wasn't all that much. Total was under $1000 for both items. On edit: that $1000 includes purchase, shipping and the duty on the rack

Ontario or Canadian resources for Parts and Accessories

There are two sources in the TO area that are dealers for Corbin seats, they have a seat for the Cali Tour with the heating option. For parts and such, I purchased the 50l top box and the chrome rack from AF1Racing in Texas. Took about a week to get in Montreal. Two boxes, nicely wrapped and...

    Headlight

I have similar. Spoke to the dealer here at the last service, and he mentioned it looked like the water was between the chrome ring and the outside of the light. Looked at it the other day and if I saw right, there may be some dead bug-critters in there too. Going back before I put the bike...
