How important was "made in Italy" to you?

Besides having to wait months and months for parts, the Piaggio dealerships are forbidden to order a part from a dealership that has it. This was my first and last Guzzi unless I hit it big and get another bike like the Flying Fortress!! We are dealing with a corporation, a dead entity that...

How important was "made in Italy" to you?

To be honest I wish they were made where parts were readily available. My bike was in the shop from Jan. 2023 to late Nov. 2023!

Dual timing chain mishap 2014 cali custom

You might be right lol. As of now, the shop has had my bike for over 9 months. They say the oil pump gear will arrive this month some time. I'm not holding my breath. If anyone reading this knows where I can get that oil pump gear, I would definitely appreciate it. The bums at the company that...

Dual timing chain mishap 2014 cali custom

What I meant to say was, is it a regular occurrence to have to replace the chain tensioner or the chain guide plate after so few IMO miles (63,000)? It's gonna cost more than the bike is worth commercially, but of course it's worth it!

    Changing headlight bulb

Thank you everyone. It seemed like a daunting task, then I called New Haven Powersports and spoke to a mechanic. He told me I had to completely remove the headlight assembly lol. Yes, incredible as it sounds that's what has to be done to replace a light bulb. But at least one of you guys knew...

Thank you Dave. So where is the low beam?

    Changing headlight bulb

It would seem to be a no brainer, but maybe I have no brain!! It looks like a very complicated task to change the bulbs. When I turn the ignition switch, there are 4 small lights on either side of the headlamp assembly. There is a large lens at the top and the high beam bulb at the bottom...
