    valve check

Just adjusted my valves for the first time yesterday (11,800 miles) and all the exhausts were still within specs (.008) but I had to tighten all the intakes back down to .006 as they also were at .008.

    Will do.

    Dyno Help

If they will only do one pull what gear do you recommend? The Cali has your full fueling kit and air box mod/filter with cats removed and the griso has your tune and air box mod/filter and exhaust.

Thank you so much! I was hoping you would chime in on this.

    Dyno Help

Can anyone here help me with the proper way to hook my '14 Cali to a DynoJet? I'm entering my Cali and my '13 Griso in a dyno competition on the 6th and I'm sure they won't know what spark plug lead to hook to. It looks like they may put the Cali in a " less than 103 ci " touring class and the...

    groan noise on take off

Thanks for the post Roadventure. At least I now know what I'm up against. Doesn't scare me to tear any of my bikes apart, makes me more confident about them.

    groan noise on take off

That is exactly what mine does.

    groan noise on take off

My bike has done it since almost new and since it only happens every so often on the first take off I have learned to deal with it. I can't imagine that replacing everything new would help for very long.

    groan noise on take off

Thank you very much, I will do it.

    groan noise on take off

Just completed a 700 mile weekend and only did it first roll outs in the morning and if its on level or down hill slope it barely even does it at all. Seems to be really not like a little up grade first thing. Bike runs amazing after the first 10 feet in the morning. Bike has 11,800 miles on it.

    groan noise on take off

I'm glad that someone else has experienced this problem as well as me now. I have had this same problem since my bike was new and like 777 says it only happens first thing in the morning or if it has sat for several hours during the day. The moaning does not sound like it is coming from the...

'12 Griso throttle response like a hi/low switch

Starford, do you ever get to Oklahoma? If you do feel free to ride my Griso and see if it's any different that yours. I don't have Todd's full fuel mods but I do have one of his Tunes in it, along with his open air box mod and some sweet exhaust that is came with.

Here is mine I used to go to Michigan a couple of weeks ago.

    Air Box Mods

I just bought a modified factory air box lid from Todd. Don't know if he still offers them but it was cheap and I still have my original if I want to go back stock.

    Griso Track Days

Trout, do you get the little yellow triangle flashing at you around 130? I do but haven't checked it out yet.

Audace the California VS the reviews.

Heyzeus, Thanks for the comparison, I have a 1400 Cali and have often contemplated on trading my V-Rod in on the Audace but was always afraid that it would be to similar. This will now let me keep my eyes open for the right deal.

    C14 Muffler - Cat removal

Pretty sure I went with a 1" bit. I took a piece of 1" CRS and turned one end down to fit a 1/2" drill and tacked the other end to a drill bit. Worked well.

    Ignition keys and codes

BSG, how has this turned out? Mine also asks for a code when I start it but I don't know how to enter one.

    Cracked Cal 14 Exhaust Parts

I have to agree with buzglyd, my bike is at 9800 miles right now so I'm gonna have to tell the wife " every ones exhaust $hits the bed at 10,000, mine will too".

    Exhaust predicament

If I were in your situation I would order a set of modified stock mufflers from Todd, and the open air box lid and filter. It's what I run and am very happy with them.
