Are all 1400 Engine Guards (crash bars) the same fitment ?

Well, the 1400 Custom/Tour fits the 1400 Eldorado just fine, after all. Weird how these kits have different part numbers

Are all 1400 Engine Guards (crash bars) the same fitment ?

Are the crash bars for all of the 1400's the same fitment ? If not, then does anyone know the difference ? Some of us have been kicking this around. I said that they are all the same. What am I missing ? The part numbers are different for the Cali Custom/tour and the Eldo/Audace - but if ya...

Do Engine Guards Interchange Between All 1400's ???

I'm shopping for engine guards for my 2020 Eldorado 1400 and have found Hepco Becker part number 501544 00 02 for the engine guards. It says that the fitment is Cali Custom and Tour. No mention of the Eldorado, but I was thinking that all of the 1400's had the same fitment here. What do you...

    Been busy with the polish

I did that when removing the wheels to install new tires. We have an assortment of tiny to large size foam cones that work well - at the end of a drill extension. Otherwise, I dilute the Mother's "all wheel cleaner" 50-50 with water and use a spoke brush and then rinse right away. I just...

    Cali 1400 Custom Windshield

If you do not have the light bar, then you need a bracket that mounts to the lower portion of the triple tree, and then the windshield hardware mounts to that.

Anyone Ever Put a Top Box On a 1400 Eldorado ?

I was looking at accessories for the Eldorado 1400, and found the MG rear rack (carrier) and wondered if anyone else had one of these. I was thinking that one might mount one of those quick-release top box to this. What do you think ??? :-)

    2020 Eldorado windshield bracket

I Ihink you're right - no more genuine Moto Guzzi windscreen kits for the 1400 unless they are in stock somewhere. You can try ordering the parts (individually) off of the parts microfiche. Pricy that way, but there are some still in stock.

    Cali 1400 Custom Windshield

Right. Might have to leave it as it is. It may be one of the few bikes that I did not "ugly-up" LOL

    Cali 1400 Custom Windshield

Following. I have a line on a 2020 Eldorado and am currently researching accessories...... I like the OEM Guzzi windscreen (plus the side wind deflectors) At any rate, I'm going to need a windshield

The truth about fuel stabilizer - Fortnine

Half of the people say that fuel stabilizer is snake oil, and the other half think it isn't. OK, well..... of those people that have any interest in the subject. Stihl offers to double the warranty on new 2-stroke power equipment if ya buy their branded 2-stroke oil that contains fuel...

    Is there a V9 "touring" Windscreen ???

....still haven't found anything..... Have seen the Genuine Moto Guzzi "touring" windshield, but they're all out of stock.

    Is there a V9 "touring" Windscreen ???

Been looking for a larger windscreen for my V9 Roamer. Right now it has that little OEM Moto Guzzi shield. Looks great but doesn't do much. There are lots of flyscreens out there, but I'm not finding the larger windscreens. Suggestions ?

    V9 Bobber Valve noise

Yes, they do make a bit of noise. For peace of mind, check them yourself. I've checked mine twice and they're in spec and still going tic tic tic tic tic tic tic..... You will need 1. Two chairs. One to sit in and one for tools, drink, snack. 2. A radio, tuned to a nice rock station. ;););)

    California 1400 Fluid Changes

For the 1400 crankcase, I use 3.2 liters 10W-60 for drain and refill, with the HiFlo HF-565 filter. More than 3.2 liters, and it ends up in the air filter box. For 10W-60: Liqui-Moly branded oil is popular, as is Motul, Castrol Supercar (fav of Porsche owners, also) and more. My owner's...

    V9 luggage / saddlebags ???

Looking for luggage options for my 2017 V9 Roamer Was thinking Givi 30L Dolomiti side cases, but Givi has discontinued the PL8202 side case carriers. Then there's the C-bow mounting system. Buy the bag hardware and mount anything you want - but I've not seen a rear view of this mount system -...

    How to measure the oil

It's an odd way to check the oil (run the bike for ten miles). You'd think that simply starting the bike and leting it warm up a bit would have the same effect, but it doesn't. We also have a Yamaha Roadliner (dry sump, tank under seat) that is the same way. Can't get an accurate reading on...
