After seeing Kildareman's photos, I placed an order for one bracket. I like the look. As usual Todd comes through.

    1200 Sport 4V Alternator Issues

Thanks Brian, after reading the answer you gave on another post (can't find it now ;-) ) I did the same with my '07 Norge. Ran a 12 gauge wire with a 40 amp fuse from alternator to battery and the voltage jumped from 13.5 to 14.3.

Led bulbs to replace standard ones on Norge

Brian, did you run an additional wire or did you replace the first one? With the bike running I never get more than 13.5/13.7 volts. Thanks, Nick

Thinking of Adding an Gen 1 Norge to the garage. A good or bad move?

I did the Matris fork upgrade and got a Penske rear shock/spring combo (from here), got a Corbin seat. I did have the oil pump replaced as a preventive measure, the original was still OK. Oh yes...the status interruptus among other odd and ends. The bike is very hot (temp-wise) especially with...

Installing Norge Panniers on the 1200 Sport (with pics)

    Norge replacement grips

Well, after 11 years and 77,000 miles the original hand grips on my Norge are pretty much worn out. The rubber part is falling apart. Where could I find a replacement set? OEM or after market.

    Norge 8v electrical failure

Samething happened to me way back. The alt belt was totally shredded.

    No hands bike goes right

Would the weight of the panniers affect it? I know that I keep all my emergency tools in my left bag and it's considerably heavier than the right one. The bike seems to track straight, but I'll try the "no hands" next time. Have you tried in a parking lot?

    GT-Rx® Muffled Reverse-Cone Megaphone Muffler, now on a 2008 1200S

Beautiful bike!!! and muffler. You may have the muffler mounted on the wrong side of that mounting bolt. The muffler on my 07' Norge mounts on the inside of it. If you were to do that, you may not need that curved bolt you made-up and the center stand would then rest a little higher and out of...

    Fast Idle when HOT Stumped

Thanks Tony. Since I have the tank off I may just run a hose from the top of the airbox to the battery compartment and use a plastic bottle. Good idea. Thanks.

    Fast Idle when HOT Stumped

What would happen if the return oil line would go straight to the ground instead of making a pit stop in the airbox and then go to the ground? ps.: don't call the EPA yet, it's only a question ;-)

Norge easy dashboard cover removal tips?

    1. You do not need to do anything with the tank. 2. You need to remove the windscreen by only removing the four front screws. 3. To remove the dashboard, you actually have only 8 screws to remove. 4. The tricky part is the disconnecting of the main dash electric plug. There is not much room to...

Several questions on my 2012 Norge

Great work abbienormal! I also replaced the rear suspension on my '07 with one of Todd's offerings (Penske at the time) and installed his Matris kit also. It changed the Norge. Only scraped the centerstand once since the install, but the bike was fully loaded and actually had no business taking...

    Breva 1100 Engine Oil Capacity

The owners manual for my 2007 Norge indicates 3.6 liters (3.8 quarts). When I do an oil/filter change I add 3 liters, run the motor for 5 minutes and check the oil level. I may add a little more, but keep the level just below the 1/2 mark. 4.1 quarts may be a little too much.
