2013 Norge 8V. Roller tappet engine.

If remapping isn't required ...... This would mean .... I assume they must have profiled the cam/rollers to the same specs as the tappets box setup .... openings and all. If so ...... resulting in same perform. This is what I call ....... complete Rocker Arm Support ... Plug and Play :D Cool!

2013 Norge 8V. Roller tappet engine.

Looking at the cam box opening .... this will solve the lubrication issue that everyone was so hyped up about. Is it the same 5AM ECU? ....most definitely the mapping will have to change!

    The Mirror/Signal ReRe

Last week, on my Stelvio, the right hand mirror socket got loose too. Didn't fall off the socket like yours ... :o I had noticed that the right hand was not vibrating as much as before .... but after a while of driving the mirror was reflecting my face. (Had to change it). The dealer...

Stelvio NTX GTM Performance ECU Flash

I was luck enough to get one off from our famiglia member and got it installed 2 weeks ago. Once this was done right away, without driving the bike, I heard and felt the difference in throttle response. I took the bike out for an hour drive. A point to consider …… my comfort zones are from 3500...

Sudden loss of Charging 2012 Stelvio NTX

I have a 2009..... these Hella lights draw almost 10 amps each when they are on. We'are talking almost 20 amps for both. They have a 25/30amp relay connection to the battery terminals. I recently changed the relay because it wasn't energizing properly. (Different problem than posted here)...

    ECU location and removal

If I may make an addition to this procedure ...... For the front bolt of the ECU you can gain better access, with the allen key, when removing (only one) front 3mm allen screw holding the LH silver duct. (Looking at View #5, of this procedure, its the allen screw slightly below and between the...

Everything a Stelvio owner needs to know in one post

The original Hella foglights on the Stelvio stopped working. Checked the relay coil voltage and across the coil pins were switching correctly. Ended up being the Tyco Relay part# PA66-GF25. To confirm the diagnostic I interchanged it with the headlight relay .... well I wasn't going to Portugal...

    Canisterectomy on the 2012 Stelvio

If you remove the canister you are unbalancing the A/F ratio ...... not necessarily the TB between one cylinder and the other but the amount of A/F ratio from idle to 3000rpm. The ECU is set to maintain idle at 1200rpm with a control to open and close the air passage by a steppermotor. If the...

    Michelin Pilot Road 3

I'm not the prefect candidate to comment on these tires ...... but I put them on last week and did 200km on them since. Had the original tires on the 09 Stelvio (Scorpion Sync). They lasted 15,000km which is not bad. They were starting to show some sign of wear but still had plenty of tread...

    Leaking Spoke

When I first removed the tire, the resonance when flicking the fork, was greater than with the tire on. Takes a good ear to tune a fork (which I'm loosing slowly) hearing that is .......so I did it the scientific way .....by torque. :silly:

    Leaking Spoke

Phang, Thanks for the info. Knowing the o-ring material I was able to find this: Good resistance to: Aliphatic hydrocarbons like propane, butane, gasoline (petrol) and mineral oils and fats. Hydraulic fluids not easily flammable belonging to the HCF group. Silicone-based oils and fats. Water...

    Leaking Spoke

In fact I was thinking of adding a drop of machine oil, from the inside, just to prevent from seizing. Do you think the o-rings have been greased before they assembled the rim?

    Leaking Spoke

I’m reviving an old thread to ask if any of you did any maintenance on your rims. I assume most of you have gone through a few set of tires and checked the spoke torque while doing so right? Well it’s my first tire change (Scorpions) lasted 15,000km. I’m getting some Pilot 3 this week and since...

First time I hear of that foot thing! 8-) Here are some excuses if you neglect to wave. Found this on another site during my foot wave search ...... I had a good laugh. Top Ten Reasons Why Dual Sport Riders Don't Wave Back 10. Vibration of knobby tires prevented the rider from taking his...

Re: VDSTS Info - Instructions I have a MM 5AM on my Stelvio. I assume the 15M works the same Hooking up the VDST and changing the fuel trim ....... changes the entire range. (Adding does add more fuel) https://www.guzzitech.com/forum/160/1676.html?start=50#p37272 Milage was not so good back...

    Courtesy Wave

A show of hands ...... Please  How many of you fellow riders give a courtesy wave when a comrade crosses paths? I know I do! But I've been lately seeing myself waving at scooters. Why ..... the front of these machines look like our modern day bikes. Once you pass ..... Seems they...
