    footpegs

I have the SW Motech pegs on my NTX and the extra comfort is well worth the money. I have them in the -15mm position and that little bit of extra legroom makes a world of difference. They don't catch down any earlier than the stock pegs either as they are a bit shorter, which is nice.

UK/Ireland Stelvio meet up this summer?

Just spotted this thread - I could be well up for a meet & rideout weekender. At 47 I'm a bit of a puppy but I make up for it with a lack of hair ! Sounds a great idea but I like a bit of comfort; no camping for me (well dodgy back). I must log on 'ere more often...

    Finding the right tires

I have the Anakee 2's on my Stelvio and they suit the bike well. Great road manners, good mileage and excellent handling - you'll be scraping the pegs in no time ! Lots of 'feel' and a very neutral rate of turn, I find them much better than the O/E Pirelli's. Good in the wet (well tested in...

    New to Guzzi!

The first time I went to the Guzzi factory there was a chap picking up his brand new Norge. It had German plates on and he was like a dog with two coc... Very happy anyway ! I don't know if they still do it but the other way would be to buy the bike and register it in Europe, ride it and then...

    New to Guzzi!

I had my V-Strom set up very sporty with +25mm jack up links at the rear & the forks dropped 15mm with uprated springs. It handled well and turned very quickly, to be honest I didn't think I could get the Stelvio to be as 'good'. I was impressed immediately with the Guzzi's chassis, it's heavy...

    New to Guzzi!

I also came from a V-Strom to a Stelvio, you'll not regret it ! I have the NTX (2010) version with the stock MG engine bars and bash plate and have no vibration issues. The later bars have the spotlight bracket included (rather than a separate bar) so may be better if they fit ? Enjoy the new bike.

Hello Stelvio! Good Bye V11 Sport!

Enjoy the Stelvio, plenty of tips & hints on here to keep you busy with the new toy !

    High gearing

I've now got over 10,000 miles on my NTX and it's settling in nicely. The bike is a bit tall in the gearing but it works. I can use 6th down as low as 50 mph with no issues at all, sure it doesn't pull too well at that speed but that's why 'Guzzi gave it a gear lever and 6 ratios to play with...

    Storage Wars...Stelvio NTX tool box

Nice tidy job, puts my 'mega tool tube' to shame...

    ...trade or keep?...

Sit tight, hopefully there will be a 1400 Stelvio along soon...

Bad Problem with Guzzi Stelvio NTX Aux Lamps

Bugger ! Good job you spotted that in the comfort of a garage rather than at the roadside... I lost confidence in my O/E lamps and fitted some LED's, hopefully no more bulbs to change.

Replacement Aux Lights for the NTX

Re: replacement NTX aux lamps Sadly yes, in the EU all lighting has to be 'E' marked unless it has a seperate switch so it's for 'off road use only'.

Replacement Aux Lights for the NTX

Re: replacement NTX aux lamps Not cheap but they look a cracking bit of kit.

Replacement Aux Lights for the NTX

Re: replacement NTX aux lamps I've finally put the chocolates down long enough to get into the garage and fit my new LED spotlights/DRL's. Firstly the quality of the brackets provided is woeful, however the rest of the kit is OK. Easy to fit and VERY bright - a lot more visible than the...

    Barely Starting.

I'd never given that a thought but it's a good point. Mines just over two year old and seems to be OK as it's spent it's life on an optimiser, however at the first sign of trouble it's history !

    My latest Stelvio add-ons

Nice work Leafman60, I've alway's thought the top screen mounting screw would be a great place to fasten a GPS to and you've done a great job. Is the red 'button' on the top yoke a fire control for a couple sidewinder missiles ???

Replacement Aux Lights for the NTX

Re: replacement NTX aux lamps Well, I've bought a set of the previously mentioned LED's from ebay. I'll fit them during the Christmas holidays and report back with the results.

Replacement Aux Lights for the NTX

Re: replacement NTX aux lamps They look very bright but no mention of 'E' approval; will they be road legal ?
