    Norge 2008 oil issues

I thought of the airbox issue, too--the rings idea might make sense. As John said, check the plugs when you have time--clean looking or fouled?

Griso - Another oil warning light issue

Hey Kym, Would it be this switch? http://www.autohausaz.com/search/product.aspx?partnumber=068919081A&utm_source=google&utm_medium=nonpaid&utm_campaign=frooglePN&utm_term=068919081A&gclid=CjwKEAiAqMajBRCdjejki6yjuDwSJACQeVukRsPAszbqCkG7A6gDcWrkmCQxwva_2JHx1JQQy6nJrxoCHZHw_wcB

    Updated Griso parts?

Yes, atwelljk2 -- that answers a specific question. Good to know. Thx.

    Updated Griso parts?

It's about wanting to ride, and not wanting to tow their vehicles. To buy a new bike and then be told that you have to repair the failures of the manufacturer are not great sales techniques, IMHO. I just wanted to know if Guzzi had addressed these issues recently. Apparently not. And the oil...

    Updated Griso parts?

Thanks, Dave and Todd. Disappointing a bit, especially #3. That has left me stranded twice on my Norge and a pal once on his (we both don't own them). Still, I love the Griso. I don't like its lack of ABS (that's just me, no flame wars, y'all), but I fear that whatever makes it to the States...

    Updated Griso parts?

Hi all, Helping the new Guzzi dealer in Richmond, VA, suss out some stuff. Curious whether the 2015 Grisos have any fixes to these issues: Spark plug boots crapping out Speedo cable susceptible to waterlogging (and killing the speedo) Oil pressure sensor still a crap part that can (and will)...

Griso - Another oil warning light issue

I had two fail on my Norge, spewing oil everywhere. Have folks had the same issue on the Griso? And what's the correct part number? Too, I seem to recall a better sensor from BMW that fits the Griso & Norge 8Vs...anyone have any idea whether I've heard correctly?

Great event on March 21 in Charlottesville: Driven: Motorcyc

Hi all, I hope many of you can come to this event. It's a chance for folks to hear Melissa Holbrook Pierson talk about John Ryan and the passion of motorcycling. It's also a chance to hear Tom Cotter (The Harley in the Barn; The Vincent in the Barn; The Corvette in the Barn), and Earl Swift...

So tell me what you do like.

The best thing I like about my present and past Guzzis has been the riding...the ergonomics have been great on all the Guzzis I've owned: 2000 Jackal 2004 Breva 750 2006 Breva 1100 2007 Norge 4V 2009 Griso 8V 2012 Norge 8V I love riding a Guzzi. I also love the character--as others have said...

    Broken Norge 8V 2012 :(

The symptoms? Red triangle and oil can on the dash combined immediately with gushes of oil over the engine and the rear tire. No warning at all. yes, you can ride, but you'll soak your rear tire with oil. Not the safest thing to do. SUX!!

    Broken Norge 8V 2012 :(

Latest update: After the dealer had my bike since 21 December, they called yesterday (29 January) to say that my bike was ready. They did the oil pressure switch and the fork rebuild under warranty (but Guzzi wouldn't warrant a full engine oil change, the bastards). So I now just have to drive...

    Broken Norge 8V 2012 :(

Good lord this is getting old. Raven is at Redline, towed their after I'd taken the rear tire off, drove it to Eppa's to have new rubber put on, drove back, put the wheel back on...and realized I didn't want to cover it with oil on the 60-mile drive to Yorktown (what with the blown oil pressure...
