    Valve adjusters 1975 850 T

I think and I am sure someone will confirm it or not but the ball end of the early pushrod only fit early followers. You would need to fit later followers, push rods and screws but not a mixture.

    Valve adjusters 1975 850 T

If you get really stuck I think I have some 850T adjusters if you don't mind paying freight for New Zealand

    Valve adjusters 1975 850 T

I think I am correct in saying that 850T and early used a different profile on the ball so an adjuster that fits a T3 and later will not fit properly in the pushrod cup. I am pretty sure you can get the early type of adjuster screw.

SKF seals can have multiple ribs on the O.D and be bloody tight to fit.

1975 850t bogs after letting off throttle.

No expert but start by checking the mixture screws assuming you haven't already. Wind both in until they bottom out then start with 1 and a half turns out. From there try small adjustments in or more likely out and see if that improves it. Has bike been sitting for awhile?

Rocker arm adjuster issue on my 1975 850 T.

Are these the original adjusters? It looks a bit like embrittlement during heat treatment as breaks in thread look clean. I have seen a Breva 1200 adjuster with locknut snap off like a carrot while being riden. Probadly damaged from over tightning lock nut at some stage.

    London ULEZ zone

The trick is a can of expanding foam attached to a long poll. A shot onto the camera lens should fix your problem. Knan isn't worried about the pollution, look at all the cars left idling when JSO gets away with blocking the roads.

V700Steve. I do believe bendix gear snapped back when I was removing starter Will strip and give it a good clean. Thanks everyone for input.

    I hate electrics

Hi Kevin. Removed starter, tested solenoid then motor and finally motor using solenoid to activate. All seemed ok Refitted starter and it fired straight up, even sounding a lot faster turnover.

Side note, I think I heard the bendix withdraw as I removed starter!

    I hate electrics

Bosch starter. Hot wired solenoid and it slams home. Also noted bendix gear spins slowly, like at 1/10 speed and no torque. Normal? Hot wire to motor only and it spins up fine, not grabbing bendix to check torque! Wired up using solenoid to bridge motor contacts and everything worked as it...

    I hate electrics

Hi Bisbonian. Starting to think starter could be at issue. At the moment every start is a fail, just tested solenoid feed from relay and it is holding 12.4V for 5 seconds. Solenoid smacks home but nothing from starter. I see new solenoids in Aus for $130 odd plus freight.

    I hate electrics

Starter was very clean and bendix drive was moving freely when I removed it to check solenoid.

    I hate electrics

Hi Kevin. The guy at the Ducati service is Andy and I know him quite well. Have cleaned all connections to within a inch of there life. Battery is a 2 month old 270cca and while it hasn't been load tested its holding good voltage after many test starts today. The mode of a heavy gauge wire...

    I hate electrics

Ok, I think I have read just about everything I can on the Carc no start issues but I give up. My 2008 1200 Sport had been starting fine for years with the startus interrupts mode but now has started playing up What I am getting is a intermittent clunk when hitting bottom which then blows the...
