With the demise of the 1200 and all the models this motor resides in what do you think Guzzi will do next. Cycle world showed a quote from Guzzi that a new motor is in the works that is very different then the V7, V9, or the 1400. I suspect water cooling a 1000 to 1200 to meet Euro 4 and beyond. Anyone else have any guesses?

I just did a quick Google search here in Canada, and I didn't see any demise of the 1200. Still available here in a few different models.

Throw a handful of darts up above yourself - at least one is likely to strike you, possibly. Who knows, just have to wait and find out.

The 1200 engine is no longer in production (be it A2, A7, A8), probably a case of new/old stock on floors

New water-cooled motor will be presented within few days at EICMA 2017. It will be more powerful and will have the head of the cylinders water-cooled, while the side will be air-cooled. This is, more or less, the same design as the BMW GS 1200R.

Maybe (maybe) the prototype of a new model will be also presented. No one knows if it will be a naked bike or the new Stelvio.

Guzzi is going to be at the Long Beach show this year. I expect they will debut the new models. I might have to go.

Good, and no they will not. We are always a year behind.
They haven’t been to the LB IMS Show in a decade plus, and when they were last, it was local dealer supported only, not SpA. Only the EICMA show is the debut of new models typically. If they do anything, the NY Show is now the favored one as Piaggio is Manhattan based in the US.

Here below the new scrambler equipped with a bigger motor (850cc) and better suspensions and ergonomics.
I hinted to this, but the first actual photo I’ve seen of it. Thanks for posting.

That is a preview photo reserved for the "clan of Moto Guzzi" members only.
Friday morning I will be at EICMA-2017 and I will make photos of all news.

Some reserved photos from a guy having the "pass" reserved for "market-operators" only.
