Hi all
Please help
I have been having trouble with my 04 breva.
in short would'nt start

new relay, starter motor, neutral switch, checked out wiring, ht leads and spark plugs
plastic fuel connector at tank .

now engine starts to turn over spark at plugs sparking though may be week not sure.
but seem to be a problem with fuel getting threw injector.

cleaned injector tested on bench worked ok , but on bike they are not working fuel getting to injector
but only getting 10.5v at injector while pump works

please help i'm missing riding and it is a good ride ,but may have to strip and sell if can't get going soon. want to ride not fix bike

many thanks

Remove an injector from the manifold, but leave the fuel line and connector installed. Turn the engine over and observe the fuel output. you should get a fine mist. If you do not, the injectors need to be professionally cleaned. If you are in the US I recommend these folks. http://www.rceng.com/

thank you for that info ,but i cleaned injector and on the bench it works.
it seems to me theirs no voltage/ not enough getting to the injector ,but can't see why

So the plugs are sparking, yes?
And the injectors are working, at least on the bench.
Do the plugs smell of gas when you pull them off, after tying to start?

checked the wiring as best i can not exactly like the drawing colours different but otherwise the same done my own as well from the black and white one in the manual.

the sparks plugs are dry.

i have tried starting with a battery booster as well , nothing at injectors but everything else ok,

only other thing not checked yet is the diodes

but dont think it will be them as reading different threads the pumps working and im getting a spark

i've even ordered new injectors

Why order new injectors when you haven't had yours professionally cleaned?

If both plugs are dry after trying to start, then it's fuel problem. Since both plugs aren't getting fuel, it's unlikely to be the injectors. Perhaps a safety switch, like the clutch or sidestand.

Theirs fuel getting to the back of the injectors their just not opening
the resistance in the manual says it should be 16 ohms , i'm getting 15.7 ohms this i guess is ok

going to check the diodes to day

well checked diodes checked wiring all ok
getting voltage 1.42 amps at injector but not working .
think injectors broke.

just wait for my new ones

You said they worked OK on bench, but now broke? Have you sent them to RC yet? I think they are just dirty enough to not function on the bike.

Nowhere do I see you mention FUEL FILTER, the cheap serviceable items should be your starting point.
Also, after the cost and frustration of changing many parts, that make no improvement, wouldn't it just have been cheaper to take it to a mechanic?

I checked fuel filter when repairing the elbow from the tank.
it may have been quicker to take it to a dealer but they wanted around £150 + parts as an estimate .

its cost me about that in parts and when it works it will have been me to do it.

They where working on bench but not on bike. so you are probably right they need a good clean.
when my others arrive i will put them on and get these cleaned .

well all fitted new injectors
put on fully charged battery
switched on ,pressed kill switch to on
pressed start and turning but not firing
tried again and BANG
