Hey there,
I have a 2014 v7 with about 5000 miles on it. I was riding home from work when it felt like the clutch rod gave out again. I could barely get it into other gears to get home. It has a rubbery metallic squeal when I pull the clutch lever. I started the bike today and it would start, squeal, go up in RPMs, and die. It finally idled on my 3rd or 4th try but maintained the squeal. The clutch... although it squeals, allows me to shift gears still. I did ride it but I rolled the through the gears when the bike was off.

Any leads as to what this could be???

Here a video of the squeal:

Assuming your clutch cable slack/lever adjust has been good for the life of the bike (likely not), so best guess is throwout bearing, or could be the clutch plates have glazed or related. It's going to have to be taken apart to find out what is wrong. The guys at Munroe should be able to help you out, unless you are hands on. It won't be an easy fix.

Do I have your info for the Registry(?); https://www.guzzitech.com/forums/threads/v7-registry-picture-thread-add-your-bike.9108/

Something similar happened very recently to mine right as I picked it up after a service.
It was the thrust bearing at the clutch. Very scary sounding!!!
Luckily I was already at the shop, they took it straight back and fixed it asap. It was a $35 part.
