Sorry, but when the V9 Roamer came out, I did fancy one, until I found out the tank was only 15 L.
Ok a 22 L V7 tank can be put on, but now, the V7 III is out ?
Has anyone tried riding them , as a comparison, I mean ?
Cos ( By reading articles ) as far as I can see, the only difference, is about 3 HP ?
Both having more HP than my 2006 Breva 750.
So any info on the 2 would be greatly appreciated
Cheers
Jan

Jan, the V9 motor is more grunty, meaning a little lazier than the 750-III hemi motor. It prefers to be short shifted and the throttle opened. The V7 III has a little less appreciable torque (but much more compared to your B750!), but is more rev happy. I think you'd be quite happy with the V7 III. Test ride one? Of course I have both here in the rental fleet to sample when you are back in town.

Ergo are significantly different. Neither of the V9's suit my riding style, satisfy my comfort level, or met my handing requirements. I decided to go for a V7 III Special.

Only you know which is best suits for your need. Take a test ride on both and buy the one that puts the biggest smile on your face..... simple really.

Before getting a V7 II Stornello my problem with V9 was riding position. I am a bit tall (1.87) and could not find a comfortable position when test driving it. Maybe I did not give it enough time - but FWIW I tried all V7's including the Racer with the moved foot pegs back/up and never had the same issues. So V9 wasnt for me but I love the design and would never let a 15l tank get in the way of getting one.
