Hey! Just wanted to introduce myself. Name's Dirk, and I live in Dover, NH for any New Englanders nearby or visitors coming up this way. Moved up here a year ago from York, PA.

Just bought my V7 II at the end of 2016. Picked the bike up this past Saturday, and happy to report that the first 300 miles have been quite lovely indeed. Looking forward to getting acquainted with this machine.

Before the V7 I owned a Suzuki TU250X - lovely lil' bike... but just... a bit little.
Before that, a '78 Honda CX500, (2 in the span of 6 months, actually), when I fell in love with the transverse V-twin.
Before that, a 1977 Kawasaki KZ400. First bike. I spent more time trying to get a vacuum goin' with the fuel / air mix than I did riding it.

...You can see I have a thing for classic, naked styling.

Pics are linked below, (how do I attach pics?)

Hi Dirk, congrats and welcome to the GT Forum and Guzzi Famiglia. Hope you'll add your info to the Registry pages; https://www.guzzitech.com/forums/threads/v7-registry-picture-thread-add-your-bike.9108/

I grew up in Baltimore, and my Mom's side of the Family is from Lancaster. I know the area well in riding that way almost every weekend when not headed down Skyline/Blue Ridge, and skiing at Round Top in the Winters.
When I moved to Boston for school, I bought my first Guzzi there/then... exploring all of the moto spots I could. I also raced Loudon for over 10 years prior... all before moving West (gulp) 17 years ago.

Enjoy the bike and the area up there.

My mother grew up in Lancaster. Very cold place and why we are in Tampa.
