Good day all. I am a new owner of a 2015 California Tour. I haven't received delivery yet, but I am a new owner none the less. I don't have an Ontario or Canadian resource to source parts and accessories for my new bike. I would like to buy a top box for it, but would prefer not to buy new. I would also like to find a heated seat as well. Are their any local sources for me in the Toronto area?

I would like to buy north of the 49th to avoid the huge shipping and duty fees.

Thanks

There are two sources in the TO area that are dealers for Corbin seats, they have a seat for the Cali Tour with the heating option. For parts and such, I purchased the 50l top box and the chrome rack from AF1Racing in Texas. Took about a week to get in Montreal. Two boxes, nicely wrapped and boxed. No hassles, all the parts were there, took about an afternoon to install. I had to find the holes, and decipher the instructions!

How much did the Top Box come to by the time you received it? Exchange and duty on new orders from the States is a killer. I have a local dealer looking into it, but so far a new MG OEM 50 L Top Box will be around $1,700 for the Box, hardware, and install.
You can send me a personal message if you want at teachtv@yahoo.com.

Cheers

I'll have to check my receipts for the amounts, there was no duty on the box, and the amount on the rack wasn't all that much. Total was under $1000 for both items. On edit: that $1000 includes purchase, shipping and the duty on the rack

Twisted Throttle.ca can bring in Corbin seats. They are located just west of Ktchener.
They landed a seat for my W650 at a better price than if I had ordered directly from Corbin US
2Wheel Motor Sports in Guelph and Corsa Mechannica Toronto can get MG parts.
Givi Canada out of Montreal might have a top box option and you can order it through Fying Squirrel Motorcycle

Just to avoid confusion, Twisted Throttle (formerly A Vicious Cycle) is in New Dundee, which is almost due south of where I live in Kitchener-Waterloo, not west.

That's correct. Don't know what I was thinking!
I lived in Kitchener for 12 years and should know better :)

In your defense, K-W is the only place I've ever lived where the main street has 4 different directions - E, W, N, S :D

I will contact Twisted Throttle for a pricing on the Corbin seat. I will compare their price to Dynamic Cycle Parts in Toronto. Has anyone dealt with Dynamic? They can get the Corbin seat in without duty charges. A heated seat for my Cali will still be about $1300.

Cheers

I tend to buy from Europe. Prices are great, you save 18% on the vat and there is no duty on bike parts. I've had good sucess with this.
