Repairing plastic fairing

I've had good results with Plastex on both my TT600 and Sprint ST.

On the TT, it worked great to rebuild the turn signal recess some one bored out to mount those ugly giant flush marker lights that belong on the roof of a big rig.

Unfortunately it didn't work so well on building a new tab. Let me rephrase that. Made a nice tab, identical to the missing original. Except it has snapped off twice. But in defense of Plastex, i didn't "stitch" the repair into the old plastic, just built onto the end of it. The factory tab couldn't stay together, so not too worried about my homemade one.

Also worked a miracle repairing/replacing the 2 inch by 3 inch chunk the opossums head took off of the leading edge of lowers on my Sprint.

His suggestion of using zip ties gave me the idea of how to reproduce the plastic posts that hold the chrome trimmings around the heads on the plastic fairing with the use of the epoxy. will see how much longevity that has...
