So I want to change the hideous brakefluid resevoir on my V7ii Racer and fell upon the gorgeous Rizoma Wave. I read in a thread here that Todd installed the Rizoma Wave without a mounting kit. Has anyone else installed one without a mounting kit? If yes, can you post pictures please?

Thank you

Todd installed the Rizoma Wave reservoir on my V7R without a mounting kit. I was dubious at first, but it has been entirely satisfactory - entirely. (I believe this is the same manner in which he installed a Wave reservoir on his V7II Racer.)

Wow... "hideous"! What'd the brake reservoir ever do to you? :D

I presume this swap to the Rizoma reservoir requires a different master cylinder, right?

Does it? That would be inconvenient if it did.

Well, as far as I can see looking at the front brake master cylinder on my bike and at the listing in the parts books, the front master cylinder on all the Racers is a one-piece casting with an integral brake fluid reservoir. I suspect it requires something like https://www.guzzitech.com/store/product/rcs-radial-frntbrkmstr/ as well as the Rizoma Wave to achieve what you are looking for.

Any of you guys who installed the Brembo RCS know if the levers are interchangeable with the stock ones?
