Hey All;

Just wondering why new 2017 V7 III Racers are so much cheaper than any of the other V7 III models.

Up here in Canada, a new Racer can be had for $7500, the stone for $8000, the special for $10,6000, and the Anniversario for $11,3000.

I think all the basics such as engine and trans are the same, the Racer even has better suspension bits, so why so much cheaper?

Thought?

That's funny. The Racer is pretty much the top of the line, on par with the Anniversario. If you can get one for $7500, nip it NOW. :D

It might be a mistake... I found a mistake in the pricing at my local dealer last October (the MSRP numbers they had were $300 more than the numbers on the Moto Guzzi USA website).

The current numbers on the USA website are ...

2017 model V7 III motorcycles

Stone 7990
Special 8490
Racer 9990
Anniversario 9990
Carbon Dark 9690

huh...weird, you are right...just checked the price in International Motorsports

however when I was looking at V7ii as I was tempted by the ABS system as my V7 does not have, Racer/Stone price were the other way...

wondering what made the change...hmmm....

On the Moto Guzzi Canada website the MSRP on the Racer is $11,390. The Stone is $9,390. The Special is $10,290. The Ann. is $11,390.

honestly, I believe a lot of dealers are taking a lot of hits to get these bikes out...either that or the dealer just posts price @ after whatever incentives they get...

Because it makes no sense to sell new bikes at a loss...
