Where to reposition horns after '13 V7 engine guard install?

I am about to install the OEM engine guards

These: http://www.af1racing.com/store/Scri...e+Guard+in+Chrome&idCategory=2961&action=View

I held them in place to check fitment and its clear that the horns won't fit once I put the guards on. The pictures show some forward facing horns but my OEM horns are side facing. I don't want to put the guards on and then ride without horns for days while I figure it and source new horns or mounting brackets so I'd like to have a plan in place before I do the work. Has anyone installed these and could tell me what they did and/or post photos?

I've had this V7 for about 6 months and it is a joy to ride. I wish I had "discovered" MG years ago.

Thanks! Michael

Can you find some "P" shaped clamps that will fit on the engine guards, then bolt on to horns. Like plumbing clamps, insulated or non. You may find they still look OK mounted forward facing.

The stock horns fit just fine in place with those crash-bars (I've installed dozens), they just have to be rotated rearwards in some instances. If yours won't fit, they have been possibly relocated by someone else.

Thanks for the encouragment. I realize my horns are not OEM but rather after-market nautilus horns. They are quite a bit bigger in all dimensions. I will look for a different clamping arrangement as these horns are pretty nice and I'd like to keep them.
