Release and
Indemnification: I understand that there are risks and dangers in participating
in the SoCal Moto Guzzi Rally and motorcycle rides, and that in order to
participate I must give up my rights to hold the organizers responsible or
liable for any damage that I may suffer while participating in and/or going to
or from the SoCal Moto Guzzi Rally. Knowing this and in consideration for being
permitted to participate in this activity, I hereby voluntarily release the
organizers and their officers, agents, employees and independent contractors
from any and all responsibility for any liability resulting from or arising
from my participation in any rides or other activities. I agree that this
release shall bind me, my spouse, my heirs, my personal representative, my
assigns, my children and their agents. I hereby further agree to release,
indemnify and hold blameless the organizers, their officers, agents, employees,
independent contractors, sponsors and volunteers from any and all liability and
costs, including attorney’s fees, associated with or arising from my
participation in any rides or activities. I understand that if I were to file a
lawsuit against the organizers, their officers, agents, employees, independent
contractors, sponsors, and/or volunteers as a result of any personal injury
including death, and/or property damage suffered by me as a result of
participation, including going to and coming from this event, that this release
would bar that the lawsuit and the court would dismiss it on grounds that by
signing this release, I have expressly assumed all risk associated with
participation in the above stated activities, including risk of negligent acts
or omissions by others. If I am signing this release on behalf of a minor
child; I understand that I am giving up the same rights for said minor as if I
signed this release on my own behalf. I have read this agreement and understand
the words and language in it and am advised of all potential dangers incidental
to travel to and from and participation in the rally and rides.
SAFETY NOTE: All riders must possess a valid, current
motorcycle license and liability insurance to participate in the operation of
motor-driven bicycles, scooters or motorcycles in the State of
