Has anyone ever used the SW Motech Sport Evo Tank Lock bag on their Griso? On the SW Motech site, it specifies the Daypack is what should be used with the Griso but it's only 5 litres. Your feedback would be appreciated....I'll attach a photo.

Hi,

I have only used the SW Motech tank ring to attach another tank bag system.
The Givi XS307 (the 15 Ltr bag Todd also has on this site...).
I was looking for the SW Motech bags, but they didn't fit nice.
I tried the EVO City and Sport.
The City came to close to my tank at the end and with the Sport attached, I couldn't turn sharp.
There were no other types availlable for my G12 at that time.

The Givi bag fitted good, but Givi didn't have the proper tank ring for my G12.
So I used the bottem tank ring from SW Motech to fit the Givi tankring.

Maybe now, 1,5-2 years later, there are better bags and tank rings to fit the Griso. I don't know.
But this is the way I did it in summer 2013. And still enjoying it.

PS Todd, haven't I send you my G12 data for your Registry page to you several years back? (2010...)
I'm not in your list. PM coming...

Thanks for the post Ad B, and I got your Registry info, thanks(!).

I have the plastic bolt-on rings for the Givi tank lock bags for the Griso (which I'll post in the Store today), and I'm still finalizing my CNC ring for the Breva/Norge/Sport & Stelvio.

The Givi tank lock bags are really nice. thanks for posting. I have them in the online Store above; https://www.guzzitech.com/store/category/body-n-bags/givi/tanklock-bags/

There a guy who makes a tank ring which replaces the original surround, and takes the Givi tank lock bags. Here's mine:

Thanks for the pics. I will be stocking these rings, click pic below to order, or on the Store tab above of course;

Hi Todd,

just ordered that tank ring.
It looks better as the way I attached the original Givi ring.
Maybe I will spray it (partly) in alu color ... just thinking.

Eric, which SW bag do you have? Did you ever get the pics? I'm looking at the SW EVO Engage bag, but I'm unsure of the tank slope and how it will fit and look.

I made my own mount ring for my sport and got the givi bag catches off ebay and you can fit them to any tank bag .

Both my bags were magnetic ones(cheap off ebay) ...not any more ....small one for day to day and a expandable one for touring
