V7 III Stone C-Bows & Small Luggage Rack

I have a V7-III Stone and have ordered the C-Bow pannier mounting brackets from this site.

Also considering purchasing the genuine small luggage rack (2S000256_D7), but I'm concerned that they might fight for mounting positions.

The rack bolts the rear of the frame, where the two holes are located (one is securing the rear fender). Do the C-Bows also want to hang on here?

Anybody done this? Or if you have C-Bows offer a snapshot of the mounting positions?

Dave, I have the C-Bows on my V7 III Stone. I'll snap and post some pics tomorrow.
 
Todd's will certainly be better in all sorts of ways, but here's one I sent to brother yesterday that will have to do until Todd posts his.

Not sure it depicts what you need and I do not know how that small tail rack mounts.

Note the high-tech way I kept exhaust can in place while changing out that fastener. :giggle:

I made another post but seems like some questions I had are being covered here... What bags you guys using with those c bows? I am running the V7III Anniversary edition and want to make sure the direction I start looking clears the exhaust just fine?
 
I can't answer right now as I don't have my C-Bows mounted yet. Exhaust clearance obviously depends on your model and whether you have stock exhausts.

I have a set of Nevada bags, and a couple of sets of Givi E21 with the H&B adapters. I'm not expecting any problems on a V7 III Stone, but I will have to wait and see.
 
My brother ordered H-B Orbit bags.

Those are in Atlanta, and his C-Bowed V7 III Special is here at the top of Virginia, so I cannot say with authority that they do not affect exhaust.

I had my H-B soft bags from my Griso on Michael's V7 for a fun run up to Carlisle Barracks yesterday and can say there were no clearance issues.

I include three pix that show, I think at least how those fit WRT cans.

Fit aside, there was an annoying (and smelly) issue from some asshat's chewing gum that got on the bottom of one bag and proceeded to melt on the can. I am adding tossing down gum on the road to my long list of crimes that warrant capital punishment. OK, perhaps that is extreme ... unless a second offense. :giggle:

Going to ride again today ... on the Cub Cadet. If I fail it'll be bush-hog time. :(
