Speedo error and SERVICE

Riding and mph went crazy. Cleaned sensor in back. Now reads 0mph all the time. SERVICE came on. All error codes 0 and SERVICE will not reset.

The sensor may have gone bad. The speed sensors do not throw a fault code. Since speed isn't being registered that may be throwing the service indicator.
 
Is this a Griso?
The old ones had some issues with unsealed speedo sensors which caused problems die to moisture ingress.
Many took their sensor apart and sealed it and were able to fix it that way but I believe later models came sealed better from the factory.

My recently added '07 Griso speedo would bounce all over till you got up to speed, then settle and read normal till the next start.
New sensor installed by dealer prior to purchase was not expensive (relatively speaking)and fixed it good.
Expensive trouble shooting though, if the fault lies elsewhere.....
