Next SoCal V7/9 Ride - Where to and when?

Small group of us headed up to Angeles Crest Hwy tomorrow (Sunday 07/14/19)
We'll meet at Little Flower Cafe at 10:00 AM (https://goo.gl/maps/z7hvP71SNVFdDq6t9) and head out from there.
May or may not do ACH straight to Wrightwood. Other options include heading up to Wrightwood the back way, through the high desert and Valyermo (https://goo.gl/maps/nYymdpWVHvH3dTiE9), or taking ACH to Angeles Forest and then cutting off to Soledad Canyon and Little Tujunga which then allows us to run up Big Tujunga back to Angeles Forest.
All great routes! We'll decide on the exact course in the morning. Everyone welcome! Post here so that we know to wait for you.

Hope you guys had a fun and uneventful ride today. Look forward to hearing about it and pics!

Jason and I sure did here in the SMM's(!)...

You guys should have joined us on Angeles Crest! Really nice conditions yesterday, and you could have stretched the legs of the GTMs a liitle. Angeles Crest is legendary for long sweeper after long sweeper with no-cross traffic for miles!!
Newcomb's was bustling!

Next up... Larger V7/V9 ride in August.
Bryan is taking off to India for a 15 day adventure ride - back at the beginning of August - and it sounds like everyone else has availability.

Let's start throwing out some dates and destinations!!

I like the idea of August 10th.

I am still a new rider, so I haven't ridden that many places yet. I have heard good things about riding down to Julian/Mount Palomar area, so that is on my list at some time. Or perhaps a trip to Arrowhead or Big Bear? Even Azuza canyon sounds interesting to me.

Any of those dates work for me (Aug 10 or 17/18)!

//

Changing tacks:
In the meantime Gunnar and I are going on an Azuza Canyon / Glendora Ridge Route reconnaissance ride tomorrow morning (Sun 07/28/19) for anyone who want to join. [Post here, or PM either Gunnar or me so we know to look for you]

Meet at Donut Man at 8:15 AM
915 E Rte 66, Glendora, CA 91740

Anyone game for a meet-up at the Rock Store this Saturday or Sunday (Aug 10/11)? I'd love to dedicate an entire day to a longer ride but can't swing it this weekend...

My wife has friends in from France, and we will likely be in the hills here on Saturday. I’ll try to post the times in the morning. We’ll be on the V85TT and my Stelvio.

Hey all, just saw this thread. Would love to ride with you. Ive been putting the break-in miles on my V7 Racer with some friends from the Norton Club (great guys and fun rides, but as you can imagine, not too many Guzzis). Valves are all adjusted and oil changed, and I'm ready to meet up with some fellow Guzzi riders. Would love to check out any mods you have; exhaust is on my short list (and I keep dreaming about that 820 kit!). I'll keep an eye on this thread and hopefully join you all soon!

If anyone is interested, going to leave Anaheim area tomorrow morning, ride up to breakfast at Cooks Corner, take Oak Canyon for a spin, wander down to the coast, up PCH and go up Newport Ave.

Finish ride at Lyon air museum. They have a bike and bombers event tomorrow plus I know they also currently have a Ferrari exhibit at the museum. I think OC Motorcycle (local Guzzi dealer)will be there too (they are just down the street). Should be a fun morning.

If interested post here, or message me and we will figure out a meeting place.

Hmmmm… I could be talked into this... Any of these South Bay V7 riders plan to depart the South Bay collectively? If so, time and place?
