What a great idea! Hadn't thought of that solution. I'll have a good look into what it might take to mate something like that to the Gutz engine.just grab you a nice horizontal weber and make a manifold to fit. Single cable pull and no sync required.

Cam sensor only. Not saying it can't be done, but certainly a huge project. The 15M ECU with dual throttle bodies makes for an easy conversion as you can leave everything in place to handle spark.So there is no crank / cam angle sensor you could use / tap into to get your timing to feed a electronic ignition ?

Sorry 'bout that! No, I didn't ignore you. That bit slid right past me, unnoticed.The big struggle for the newer single throttle body/ECU V7/9 would be the ECU for timing control, especially with the "wet" alternators.
When I first saw that on a friends Bonneville I couldn't believe it.Do what Triumph has done , get some fake carb covers made . Peter
