Can anyone post a picture of the support hardware from the back? I wanted to know if part # 8 shown in this picture is installed from the factory for the Touring models or not.

There is also a Chrome SideBag Guard rail which runs around the bags and the back... just want to confirm if both pieces exist or just one of them to keep the bags from not sagging inwards. Thanks!

Thanks William! this helps. So its only the chrome guard rail which runs on the back to keep the support bars in-place.
The parts manual also shows a curved brace, so I did not know if there were two or just one brace on the back side.

If you have ONLY the saddlebag support frame, then the "Item 8" is painted (powder coated) black and is used. When you buy the chrome side bag guard rails "item 8" is replaced by a chrome version of the part.

Thanks...yes..I think that is correct. Just the brace (black) was almost 1/2 the price... I did not know what to do and ordered the guard rails instead.
