So far I'm happy with the SAE 80w90 gear lube (Amsoil) in the transmission. Shifts smoother and slightly more possitive. I put my order in today for some 10w60, and some API GL4 transmission fluid for the CARC. Soon I'll be running all Amsoil in the bike. I am using OEM filters though.

I'm going with Amsoil. I've done lots of research, comparing the data sheet from each brand. I changed the transmission oil last night. When with the SAE 80w90 gear lube. I'm going to order the 75w90 API GL4 in my CARC. As for the engine oil, I'm waiting for Amsoil to respond to an email. But the 10w60 dirtbike oil that Amsoil makes, matches in all the standards and values.

I would be really interested in hearing how the bike shifts with the different oil in the tranny.
