Anyone in New Zealand know of a Griso for sale?

Have a friend looking out for one but is not having much luck.
I think he has a budget of $17K.

Cheers,
Steve.

Not sure what the exchange reate is for NZ dollars to US but with that kind of budget he could buy one in the US and ship it. The gent who bought my Norge off eBay flew over, rode around the US for a month, arranged for it to get sent to CA and loaded into a container. It now tours NZ.

You might try Moto International in Seattle. They have 2014's for $ 2,000 US off, they're a Dealer so they have the shipping crates and since it's Seattle they're a major shipping terminal.

Good thinking 99.

Just dropped them an email so will see what comes back.
$10k US would be about the limit once you add shipping, duty and on road costs so not to far off if they have a demo or low mileage bike.

Pete Roper posted on Wildly Mild that he has a customer wanting to sell an 8V for $14,700 ??? with 6000klm on the clock

Thanks again Dave, already on to it and have passed the link on.

Looks good, nice mods and bags to boot.
As he only wants one for Sunday rides then a nice 2V would be all he needs and should be bullet proof.
Apart from the extra power what other improvements were there to the 4V?
Did I read somewhere it has a better seat ?

They've been steadily improving the Griso since '07 IMO. In addition to the 1200 8V motor in '09, "improvements include the suspension and roller rockers in ~'13; They just feel nicer overall. Hard to put your finger on. Yes the seat is better as well, which can obviously/easily be replaced.
I haven't ridden the '15 yet, but the '13-14s were quite good out of the box (outside of the still too firm suspension and Euro-3 fueling headaches). The 1100 is a bullet-proof engine, and with a little set up can be as good as the 1200 for general riding. If he is one that lives at the upper RPM ranges most of the time, then the 8V is a better power plant for him.
