My 2007 Nevada Classic does not use a flasher can (turn indicator) - I am advised by Dealer that turn signals are controlled by the "dashboard circuity" - can I replace standard globes with LED's and does this involve adding resistors etc.

Cheers

If it is anything like my Griso, and it sounds like it is, if you replace the stock turn signals with LED turn signals you will need to add resistors to imitate the electrical load of the stock turn signals. Failure to do that will likely result in rapid flashing and an indication that your signals are out.
That is what I had to do with my Griso.

Thx GuzziMoto - sounds pretty straightforward for an old fart - I think the brighter LED's should add a bit of extra safety to what seems to be becoming an increasingly dangerous way to have a bit of fun.

Cheers

Your logic is correct, brighter turnsignals are a good thing. But don't make the mistake of assuming that LED signals are brighter. In fact, some of the brightest turnsignals I have used were using incandescent bulbs. Many of the LED signals I have tried were dimmer then you would think in actual use.
Another thing to avoid is never assume that, no matter what you do to make yourself more visable, that everyone actually sees you.

What he ^ said.
Oxford Nano LED are 10W (effen bright) and are about AUD$130 a pair, but they do come with resistors etc already attached.

Saw a tough lookin H/D dude wearing a fluro vest recently, it had the following question printed on the back.
"Can you fucken see me now?
