Hi
I purchased a brand new Goldwing in 2012 hoping my wife would ride with me. She did only few rides so I decided to sell it in 2014. In July 2014 I purchased a brand new Honda CTX 1300. Last week during a club meeting a friend of mine showed us the pictures of his new California 1400 Touring. As soon as I saw the pictures I fell in love with it. Then did my research and read hundreds of articles about the bike. 2 days later put a deposit for a new white Cali 1400 Touring. Will sign the documents tomorrow and hope to get the bike for the sunny weekend ride. Will post my comments after I make few hundred miles.

Well congrats and welcome to the Famiglia. Love to get your info for the Registry, and be sure to take pictures when you pick it up of you and the bike. Look forward to your next post.

Hi All

Went today at 2PM to pick up my new bike from Pacific Motorsports. When I arrived they gave the the bad news. They had problems to calibrate the traction system which is apparently required at PDI. Went back home and 2 hours later got the news: It's ready. Great sunny afternoon. They have successfully installed my GPS zumo 590 and also installed heated grips. Started the engine and wow...I liked the sound. Patrick the manager told me that the Guzzi like high RPM. I knew exactly what he meant after few kilometers. As described by many riders after initial vibrations in neutral the bike is very smooth while riding. Successfully arrived home in rush hour traffic.

Congrats on your new bike......
I was all set to buy Black until I seen the White in the showroom. Up until then, no picture on the net really showed the beauty of the White color. Once seen, I changed my mind and got the White, which even looked nicer once outside in the sun light.
FYI....SHOEI makes a helmet color called 'Crystal White' that is a perfect match for the color of the bike. Enjoy

I totally agree on the color. White is the way to go for the touring and like the black on the custom. The white is like pearl white in the sun.
I have also decided to buy it when I saw the picture.
