This goes under I cannot believe that happened.
I was installing fueling mods and taking care of moaning issues....While removing
the trim and the 5 bolts I sneezed..one flew in the air bounced off mirror and right into
the gas tank..WTF!!!!I was so surprised I didn't cuss.....(right) Well I removed tank
drained gas and couldn't get the dam thing to fall out. Fuel pump out and... out she dropped....

Oh well...LOL at least I know I have an all metal fuel filter...
Todd thanks
for all your help this evening setting the fuel mapping your a wealth of Knowledge

Wasn't it a steel bolt? If so you could have just used a magnet. I keep two telescoping magnets on hand, you never know when you will need it.

Nope ....laughing it wasn't ..1st thing I thought..even tried to fish it out with the little 3 finger grabbing tool...
Could have done that again if I tried.....My son got a big kick out of it ...until I handed him the push mower...
Its all good just another funny.... O SHIT story.... I am sure we all have them

That is funny. And I have done similar things myself.
The saving grace is you saw it go into the tank. Had you not seen that it would have been even worse I reckon.

Sounds like one of my projects. I can be totally prepared to take on some project that I am marginally qualified to do and then BAM! The perverbial bolt flys into the gas tank.

Different bolt, different tank, same amazement at what just happened.
Been there, done that, got the t-shirt.

Glad you got it resolved.

Can't tell you how many times similar things have happened. Did you think for a minute, if only I could just flip the bike over and shake. My pleasure on the mapping... let me know how it runs.

I thought about flipping bike over but I can only bench 699lbs....laughs.
Just curious has anyone had the cooling fan kick on? I was doing fueling re-maps with Todd and it never
came on...(I did have fans blowing on both cylinders)
