Hey Folks,

I just started noticing that, after shutting down the bike, the red warning light is now flashing. One flash every five seconds. This goes on for quite a while. I just did the first service about 600 miles ago and everything checked out. This started a few days ago. The bike has been running great and I don't perceive anything wrong. And how serious might it be, or would the red light be any number of things?
Thanks for any info!

Sounds like the alarm function on the other Guzzi. Snap a picture and post it or send to me direct email; Todd at GuzziTech.com

I agree, on mine i have a little light in the "dash" I guess it's called, on the right, above the warning lights. Only flashes when the bike is off and the key removed.

Thanks! I don't know if I'm going crazy but I don't feel like it's always been happening, which is why it would surprise me,
although I'd be relieved, if it's the alarm indicator/flasher. Todd, I'll try to get a photo of it and send. Thanks!

I only notice mine the odd time, and then only for a flash or three.

Mine flashes like goodo too, I dont think it always done it but definitely has for the last year.

Always presumed it was the immobiliser indicator, dont seem to notice it anymore!

Mine is a Griso though! ,:shake:

It definitely is the alarm indicator. It usually flashes after you shut down the bike and it will do it for a day or two if you don't use the bike. After those two days, it won't flash at all anymore, this is to conserve the bikes battery.

Yep Yarvis got it right. I was going to go out to my shop and get the book that came with the bike and he quoted it. I remember reading this. I think the one on my Stelvio flashes for ever. I will have to pay more attention to it and see if it stops after so many days of not riding it.
