Audace arrived this week

My new mistress arrived Tuesday, got out of the city yesterday for the first real ride, 600kms of bliss through WA's wheat belt country.

Very nice!! Can't wait to see one in person. Local stealership had an Eldorado, but no Audace...?
One question..is that front fender real, as in twill weave, carbon fiber, or is it the printed to look like CF version? One pic looks "real"...a couple of the others, not so much.
ENJOY!!!

The front guard is real

Sweet bike! Wonder if the shorter exhaust sounds any different from the longer version on the Custom & Touring.

The front fender is carbon fiber?! I saw one at Indy and just assumed it was plastic done to look like carbon. The front fender on my V-Strom is made that way.

I would like the cylinder head covers on my Custom! Much prefer the Black to my polished ones! Bet they are expensive though? Cool cool bike Mark,it oozes attitude

Some of the parts are unexplainably/illogically cheap. The Audace valve covers are $68/per side here in the U.S. Happy to get them to anyone interested.

To MarkV: Do you still have your Audace? I noticed you are in Australia and was just wondering how your experience servicing and maintaining a bike like this has been for you? I am in Melbourne and are looking at purchasing soon.

My Audace just clicked over 43K today, not one faulty issue to date, have removed the back of the air box and run a K&N filter with my replica conti mufflers, have a rexxer map for the ecu which is giving me 4% fuel increase between 500-1500rpm,8% 1500-4000 and 10% 4000-8500, pulls hard every where.

Hi Mark, are those percentages an increase or decrease in fuel consumption?
