LED Fog Light Replacements anyone?

Instead of trying to find lamps that could survive the harsh vibes of the stock position I moved my stockers to the forks about a year ago and haven't had a bulb failure or broken mount since. I used turn signal mounts I had from my Honda VTX 1800 which fit the forks perfect to mount the lights. I really don't ride much at night so my purpose for these lights is to be seen better during the day, I also tinted my lenses yellow which really make them more visible.

I put a set of LED lights on my Stelvio and my EV, plus a Honda. I used cheap Ebay ones, $200 for all three bikes, and I am very happy with the results. And no issues after a few years.
I must agree with buster001. I work second shift, and often get caught riding home at 1am in the rain and fog. It is hard to find an LED that is warmer then the 6000k color. And 6000k sucks in the fog and rain. Roads signs are very bright, but the things you need to see, deer, drunks walking along the road :banghead: , etc. Those are hard to see with the bluish color of the LEDs. I have 4000k HID bulbs in the Stelvio. I'm glad I did not go any bluer there.

I bought a $39.00 set of LED lights from Amazon, so far so good! 12,000 miles and still fine. Have one spot on the left side, a flood on the right side. They work fine.

The more I fuss with the stock lights, the more I want to replace them. I found these;

PIAA LP270. Check out the 10G Vibe rating. From the dimensions, they should fit
Thoughts, better ideas?

I have another PIAA (LP 530) LED foglight on my NTX. So far one light and a mounting bracket has failed in less than 10k miles. Plus they really aren't any better in output than stock (maybe worse). WNBA, especially considering the high price

I wanted LED fog lights, not the blinding cheap things from china.
I found only BMW to have a real flat bundle LED, sold for the GS. So I bought two, with a short cable on it to have the right plug.
I wanted them to be on the fork legs, so I designed a mounting thingy in cad. I found a shop that made them for me and I mounted them.

I'm happy with it. Will use them as day running lights too.

Due to a number of requests, I offer the brackets for sale, for the 45 and 50mm forks.
PM me for info
