Have been looking to fit an oil sump with an external oil filter .
the folks at gutsibits in the UK have them , just wondering if any one on this site has fitted one .
from the foto on their website it is hard to establish whether it has a pressure relieve valve.

Gutsibits are very good, I've dealt with them on many occasions. Give them a call and they'll tell you all you need to know about it.

Have been looking to fit an oil sump with an external oil filter .
For your Bellagio? They don't come with a externally accessible oil filter? If not, look into the pan from any of the 1100-1200 CARC 2V motors.
If it's for an older model, Guzzibits is good, and there's a few others here in the States like Harpers and MGCycle.

Thanks for the pointers John & GT-rx .
I ended up ordering the V-shaped oilpan from Stein-Dinse in Germany .
filter out the front ,complete with oil sight glass.
Nice fit ,used a neoprene gasket from Real Gaskets over there in the US ,I also use them on the rocker covers and
like they are re-usable and are aviation quality.
With thanks Johan B.

You may have an issue using the Real Gasket on the oil pan. If you ever use the pan to support the weight of the bike it may distort sufficiently to cause a leak.

Good point John ,I'll order a standard gasket as backup.
Although I used a Real Gasket on the old oil pan without any issues ,
I think ; the people that seem to have problems with neoprene gaskets , over tighten them.
Real gaskets make them for the aviation industry ,which is highly regulated in regards to quality of components.
problems with these gaskets are mostly due to" do it yourself mechanics " not understanding the low torque requirements.
O K in my book. J B
