One possible reason for some confusion is that, even though the specified service interval on all the 1-TB models since 2012 is 10,000 km (6214 mi), the "MAINT" light comes on at 7500 km (4660 mi). Why? Apparently, because the makers of the instrument cluster neglected to update the program. Same problem on my '13 and '16 Stones. I know that Italians are not noted for punctuality, but, jeesh, it's been 5 years.

So next service is on 10.000kms? Mine has almost 5000 on it. It seems a bit too much i think ...

Modern oils have a service life much longer than most folks think. Believe me the manufactures is conservative with their service intervals.

Here's an impressive service interval. The oil specified for the new 6-sp gearbox is eni ROTRA LSX 75W-90. In addition to being API GL-4 and GL-5, it is rated by the new API grade MT-1. It contains ingredients to extend the life of seals and is recommended for heavy duty bus and truck gearboxes that go as long as 500,000 miles between changes.

I've got speed bleeders on the brakes and flush those out once a year with new dot 4. Dot 4 absorbs water really bad.
