The motor will fit with a front timing chest cover swap. mated to the Cali 5-speed. Next hurdle outside of the alternator would be the throttle bodies, and then timing and fueling, which I can be of help with. Are you just looking to increase power? If so, ring Mike Rich Motorsports.

Using the 80 mm crank, alternator, and timing cover from your existing hydro motor will solve your charging issue. a crank mounted ignition will work out your timing or as Todd pointed out, contact him for injection and timing options... or run Mikuni hsr flat slides, 42 or 45mm depending on mods/performance done and what you are looking for. A few other little things need to be addressed, crankcase breather etc.

I love that v7/12 Guzzi build as it addresses what is (forme) the biggest issue with the V7's - lack of power.

I hear rumours though that Guzzi might be releasing a V11 range (like the V7s but bigger motor / more torque and power).
