Anyone have experience using or installing a different headlamp? I have found the the fitted lamp on the Cali is less than adequate. I am not sure if the Denali M7& or M5 will fit and if the wiring would be difficult or not. The Denali is in 2 different sizes 7 inch and 5 inch. Would it be easier just to change the existing lamps in the stock module?
Any thoughts?

Mike

Mike I'm curious: What is it about that headlight that is not adequate?

I had a Cali 1400 & compared to all previous bikes that headlight was very bright & it lit up the shoulders of the road very nicely.
I really liked the broad angle of the beam because I live & ride on back country roads & deer, hog, bear & dog are always a probable.

I rode with a goldwing and concours recently and noticed the beam length and strength was much weaker on the Cali comparably. Deer is my main concern where i live.

Please keep us advised of any improvements (that are actually improvements) you come up with. I'm out in the country too, and any reasonably priced aftermarket components to improve night time illumination are always welcome...

Kit Xenon H3 slim. Much better than original H3 Halogen bulb
