Hello All.

I just noticed some oil seeping or leakage at the front of the bike near the horns. I managed to get a 5mm wrench on a few of the bolts however none were loose. I did not remove the oil cooler to check all of the bolts, I may have to do this and torque the all bolts. I does look like the gasket maybe seeping. I cannot pin point where the seeping is coming from. The pics are front left and right.
Has anyone else had this issue?

I've not been up close an personal to a 1400, but I suggest getting it to your dealer. It should not be leaking at all. If it were a CARC bike from the oil pattern I'd suggest a crankshaft cover seal, but I'm sure on the assembly of the 1400. It shouldn't be seeping oil here, none of my Guzzis seep oil.

The only time my 1400 ever seeped oil was when the valve cover gaskets decided I used them one time too many. I would be at the dealer getting that stopped.

Thanks for the replies. I am just finished removing the cooler, tightening the bolts, some where not torqued. I did clean up the area, will have to monitor the area closely. I do not have a dealer close by otherwise it would be there on monday. Another thing i am contemplating is wiring a switch to control the cooler fan. I have not heard that fan start in a long time, I bench tested it working fine.

In Canada you probably wouldn't need the cooling fan much. I wouldn't be too worried about that.

It had to be really hot or stuck in traffic in warm weather before my fan would come on. I wouldn't worry.
