Clutch Noise?

My guess is a loose or unsecured electrical connection from when they were doing the other work to your bike. I've had that happen before, especially in a busy shop...

Bingo, loose starter wire. Picked up the bike yesterday. Dear god I hope this is the last of it!

Canada does not have lemon laws, however we do have a court system that will obtain information from the end user and the manufacturer and determine a verdict (ie. pay for repairs, replacement or complete buyout).

100% correct and I agree. This could happen (and has happened) with any brand of bike. I'll just keep updating this thread so that a complete compendium anything that can go wrong with a V7 as it seems I'm fated to experience everything haha.

Cheers all.

Always go over your bike when you get it back from that dealer, i have had loose bolts, missing spacers, striped threads, etc.. i will self service my bikes from now on, or try the guelph shop if i need to.

I typically do to a certain extent. I don't have access to the space nor tools to do major work at my condo.

Regardless, George had the issue resolved the next day. All is good *knock on wood*. I've recently installed a new clutch lever as my last one had a lot of play. I notice a huge difference with shifting now. Thinking of changing out the levers this winter.
