Good evening everyone.

I am setting up replacement auxiliary lights on my 2012 Stelvio NTX. They are Cyclops Adventure Optimus long range driving lights with Skene 275 Controller.

The dimmer needs a power trigger from the high beam light. Where would be the best place to tap that high beam source?

(I think it is possibly the blue and white wire at the headlight bulbs and probably at the high beam relay too but I don't know where that relay physically is on the bike)

And yes, my factory fog light wire shorted inside the housing.

Thanks for any suggestions that can be offered. I'm electrically challenged!

Joe

I finally got around to it and tapped into the white wire with a blue strip at the right headlight bulb. I checked first with the meter and it only had power when high beams were on.

The new lights have power and switch to high along with the high beam now.

It's raining here so test ride will have to wait until later this week.

Thanks again for the tip, Stormshearon.

Joe
