14 v7 racer dieing and smoking

All the stuff I ordered for it came in today seems it always works out like that u wait around like a puppy about to pee in the floor waiting for the big brown truck lol. Then u can't play with the new toys

The bike made it back today service guy was super nice delivery guy was nice they said that the tune was wrong in it and the tps needed reset and didn't fool with the evap setup or the with it not wanting to stay in first gear said they would ajust the cables at 600mi service but it ran good for about 10 miles parked it went and ate and guess what no start and when it did finally start blew a mess of blk smoke again seems like it only dose it on sunny days so it wasn't fixed and got a bill for the fix lol so gonna do the evap fix and just get the tuner from guzzi tech no more money for the dealer should have know better I guess super nice people but bike not fixed

Burmmer to hear that. Sounds like your dealer may have some knowledge gaps, despite their friendliness. In this day and age, everything is computer controlled. if you are willing to climb the learning curve I think will pay off in the end. Any chance of a refund from the dealer? Good Luck!

I think I would have a better chance of pulling my own teeth than getting a refund lol but with a lot of reading and trial and error I'll get there everyone on here is helpful and think with the resorces here it very possible

Where's the vent tube on these bikes I can open the gas lid and a sudden rush of gas fumes comes out of it I think that might be the big cause of my issues

I had the swoosh problem. I removed the known to fail tip over valve on the vent line. I think it was orange and blue. I also removed the rest of the evap system. Involved removing the tank which is easy after you do it once.
