Having recently moved to New Zealand and brought the bike with me from Tasmania, local compliance requires the dimensions of the disc brakes. Minimum dimensions that is ? ( Diameter and circumference )
Does anyone have the factory specs on this, particularly on factory paperwork ? Yep, trust my fellow countrymen to come up with an obscure compliance item such as this.
The bike has OEM brakes with nothing replaced.

You are in a world of regulation butt-hurt my friend. I feel your pain so I searched everything for you. Factory service manual, - page 13, diameter of rotors. Parts manual, nothing. Owners manual - page 131, diameter of rotors. There is nothing in the manuals at all about minimum thickness which does not surprise me because Moto Guzzi sometimes changed parts mid production.

However, on the rotor itself, or the aluminum carrier, the minimum thickness should be stamped into the metal, like this photo. Good luck!

Thanks so much for that. That puts me in the right direction. Cheers.

Isn't there a portion of the disc where the pads haven't been operating? If so, you can measure the original thickness and therefore the amount of wear.

I don't think there is a minimum diameter specified, since that should never change.
